As a beginning software developer, you should not only have an appropriate degree, but solid skills in at least one programming language, as well as an understanding of the entire software life cycle. In the field of business consulting, expertise in at least one of our industries, such as automotive or insurances, for example, will be a definite advantage. Even more important to us, however, is the ability to work in a team, take initiative, show strong customer, result and service orientation, as well as a willingness to continuously grow and develop.

At our company, most employees tend to start in IT consulting, business controlling or in software development. There are also entry-level options in project management as well. In addition to traditional entry level positions where you start work directly, we also offer a “Professional Start” entry level program that prepares you for future work.

At msg, young professionals should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or a PhD. Ideally, you will have completed a degree in an IT-related field (computer science, information systems, computer engineering, applied computer science, etc.), mathematics, physics or economics.

There are at least 2 phases to our application process:

• First, we often conduct an over-the-phone interview to help us both get to know one another.
• If both parties leave the interview with a positive impression, we conduct an in-person interview. That helps us get to know one another even better and to discuss the position we are looking to fill in greater detail.
