msg's headquarters is located in Ismaning. More than 1,000 employees – many of them from our Insurance, Automotive and Banking divisions or from our Corporate IT – are hard at work here developing standard and individual software, advising customers or are involved in on-site projects at customer locations.

Ismaning itself shares the flair of the Bavarian capital. With about 18,000 inhabitants, this small city is located at the gateway to Munich along the Isar river and has become a favorite and active business location. In addition to a sense of Bavarian comfort and a wide variety of cultural and free time offerings, Ismaning is also popular for its easy connections to public transportation making getting to Munich a breeze.

Space for creativity and interaction
The location in Ismaning offers easy access to the light-rail or S-Bahn as we call it, which provides transport to Munich’s Marienplatz in just about 20 minutes on the S8 line. The S8 also provides transportation to the Munich airport when taken in the other direction. The office can also be easily reached by car and bike. There is a large underground parking garage on site as well as outdoor parking and covered parking for bikes - all available free of charge.
Two of the favorite locations enjoyed by our colleagues in Ismaning are the large cafeteria Café Dalucci in the main foyer as well as the adjacent in-house canteen that is open for lunch and offers fresh and regional dishes. The canteen connects to a covered patio within the building, which is also used for festive company parties and the annual Christmas party.
Light offices and conference rooms, a modern film studio and an in-house fitness room where employees can burn off the stress of the day or take advantage of the company health management also make this an attractive location.

Modern IT infrastructure thanks to our IT service lounge & IT accessory vending machine
In 2021, we created a modern and appealing service zone, the IT Service Lounge, for our employees. Colleagues have access to first-rate, personal support from our Corporate IT and can also test out new IT hardware.
Furthermore, the IT accessory vending machine in the main foyer makes long waits for IT accessory orders a thing of the past. The vending machine provides fast and easy access to IT accessories, such as keyboards, headphones and charging cables.
